We are excited to announce the expansion of our Palm Tree Charter fleet!

After a very busy 2014 season, it became apparent that we need to expand our fleet.

So we started a world wide search for a boat that would offer our guests a similar boating experience. Well, we only had to go as far at the Beach Bar in Cruz Bay. One afternoon in September of 2015, we met a man from Connecticut who is a boat mechanic for a company who specializes in Glacier Bay boats and other power catamaran type boats.  We told him we were looking for another boat and he mentioned that his company had what we were looking for.  I followed up the next day, and sure enough they had the boat we needed.

We made our deal, arranged for payment and began the waiting process of having a boat shipped a fourth of the way around the world (Connecticut to St. John).  There was delay after delay because of the limited shipping capacity from Jacksonville, FL to San Juan – mostly due to the sinking of the cargo ship El Faro.

Finally on Dec. 15th 2015, we received the boat, outfitted her and named her Palma Bella II.
